Policy Proposals
Each proposed policy is read twice at public Board meetings, then sent to the district for review before it takes effect.
- First readingThe proposed policy is introduced and discussed at a public Board meeting.
- Second reading and voteAt a later meeting the Board reviews it again and may vote to adopt it.
- Sent to the districtThe adopted policy is delivered to the Oregon Trail School District.
- District reviewThe district has 45 days to request changes.
- Official policyIf no changes are requested, the policy takes effect.
